Howdy folks!

Plenty of Slaanesh this week, with three Noise Marines that I spent a good bit of time on. One in particular looks quite disgusting... As he should.

But first, a note on my plans for 2015. I have a list of models that I want to get finished this year before moving on to anything else. The main idea behind this is that I want to get more progress done. In order to motivate myself, I have also added "rewards" for getting a set of models finished. So for example, finishing this Noise Marine squad has "unlocked" the task of finishing up the modelling aspect of my Predator. I'm hoping to keep this up throughout the year and get most, if not all of it done.

So without further ado, the list:

6x Noise Marines (Unlocks Modelling Predator)
4x Christmas models, comprised of the Emperor's Champion, Typhus, Hasslefree Clint and Beth (Unlocks modelling two Rhino's)
11x Night Lords Chosen (Unlocks modelling the Land Raider)
10x Chaos mercenaries (Unlocks Modelling AoBR Dreadnought)
29x Night Lord Marines (Only require highlighting/basing, but unlocks Dreadclaw conversion? To be decided...)
18x Fallen Angels from Dark Vengeance (Unlocks Cypher)
8x Vehicles (3x Dreadnought's, 2x Rhino's, a Predator, a Defiler and a Land Raider. These unlock nothing, as I'll be finishing up with them last. Once they're painted, I'll just go buy a house and fill it with jellybeans or something equally crazy.)

Should be interesting to see how things turn out! I always spend ages painting Noise Marines, as I double-layer the gold on and  highlight everything neatly, so getting some other models finished shouldn't take as long as they did. But I'm rambling now, so have some pictures:

I like how the purple worked with this dudes skin colour. Very infected-looking.

Again, liking the skin colour. Purple ink work wonders on white skin.

This one is pretty standard, so I gave him a Slaanesh shoulder pad.

Nice lens-thing though.

Sweet, merciful Christ, WHAT HAVE I PAINTED?!

I mean really, this guy is ugly.

This is probably the least offensive image I have of him, because you can't see his face.

He really is a shining example of how messed up Slaanesh is.

The purple ink looks good though!

Our trio of anti-heroes in a group shot. Or just plain villains. You decide.

The guns were painted with Liquid Gold's Copper paint. I then painted the fleshy-recess-parts with Hormagaunt Purple and washed with Agrax Earthshade.

The whole squad!

And in a much better shot.

And finally in a shot lead by one of the first models I ever painted: Lucius The Eternal. The years have given me a bit of experience!

So that's pretty much it for now people, if you have any feedback, please let me know.

On a final note, if you'd like to be featured in the blog list to the right of the screen, feel free to let me know.

Until next time, good luck!
